On December 29 around 11 p.m., the call came in: A woman was being assaulted near NE 70th Street and North Miami Avenue.
A few minutes later, a squad car pulled into an alley behind 45 NE 70th St. Cops found Regina Renee Crawford on the ground, unconscious and with bruises on her neck and face.
The 37-year-old died before paramedics arrived.
Today, police are asking for help with finding the man seen leaving a nearby gas station with Crawford a few hours before she died.
