Michael Schwartz is taking on the high seas once again with the announcement of his new gastropub concepts on Royal Caribbean’s Quantum of the Seas class ships. The first, the Quantum of the Seas, launches Fall 2014, sailing from the New York area to the Caribbean.
Michael’s Genuine Pub is one of 18 restaurants onboard the mega ship Quantum of the Seas, and will be the very first gastropub at sea. The other Quantum ships will also feature a MGP and other world-class dining options.
Beers served at Michael’s Genuine Pub will include everything from Stone Arrogant Bastard and Ommegang Rare Vos to PBR (and, of course, Michael’s Genuine Home Brew).
Snacks will include chile chicken wings; fried gnudi; chicken liver crostini; slow-roasted pork sliders; and smoked fish dip.
Reservations for the gastropub open May 15 (and, of course, you’ll also have to book passage on one of the ships’ voyages).
Schwartz is celebrating the announcement today with a happy hour today, April 3. From 4:30 – 6 p.m. come out to Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink and enjoy complimentary snacks and Michael’s Genuine Home Brew!
