Rep. Paul Ryan’s Republican budget plan, which among other things essentially replaces Medicare with a voucher program, is shaping up to a be a big issue in the 2012 election, and one would expect any candidate, especially running for a Federal legislative office, to have an opinion on it. Florida Senate President Mike Haridopolos, who’s run for U.S. Senate in 2012 has already been beleaguered by a book scandal, was on a conservative radio show, but was kicked off when he didn’t have much of anything to say about the Ryan plan.

Haridopolos’s appearance on The Run Junior show is a lesson in how to say tons of words without ever actually giving an answer one way or another:

It’s hard to hear exactly what Haridopolos is saying, but Naked Politics has the transcript. However, Junior repeatedly asks Haridopolos whether he would have voted ‘yes’ or ‘no’ on the controversial bill. Haridopols replies with lines like, “Again, I don’t have all the information to make that decision yet,” and tries to shift the conversation multiple times to what he’s done in the Florida Senate.

Tired of not getting a straight answer, Junior hangs up on Haridopolos. Ouch.
